We’re growing fast at Tomahawk, and we’re proud of that. At the same time, we want to make sure that growth doesn’t come at the expense of the way we work. After all, how do you ensure that your agency grows without losing the benefits of being “small within a large organization”?
Short lines of communication, direct contact with specialists and the ability to move quickly are important parts of how we work. We would like to keep it that way, even as we continue to grow. This is why we have chosen to work with two independent teams so that we can maintain the short lines of communication and personal collaboration.
Why we are working with two independent teams by Q4
Until Q4, we at Tomahawk worked as one team. Due to our growth, we are now setting up the organization in such a way that our personal approach remains guaranteed.
We achieve this through a team structure consisting of two independent teams rather than a single larger unit with additional layers of management. Both teams are similar in size and composition, with clients distributed evenly between them. Each team has its own team lead and dedicated specialists in SEO, SEA, social media, and tracking.
Strategy and execution take place within the same team. Decisions are made by the people who work with your account on a daily basis. This keeps it clear who is responsible for what and allows for quick action. The teams work independently, from one shared vision and working method, so that cooperation remains personal and quality is consistent.
What this means for you as a customer
Even as Tomahawk continues to grow, the lines of communication remain short and you work with regular contacts. If a team gets too big, we'd rather start a new team than add extra layers. This keeps the collaboration personal and involved.
For you, that means direct communication and clear decision-making. You have regular faces and a team that actively follows your market and thinks along with you. The people you talk to are the same people who perform and optimize the work. No transfers between departments and no confusion about responsibilities.
Small within large
Our team structure is designed to allow us to grow without losing the advantages of a small agency. This keeps the lines of communication short, you work with permanent specialists and you always know who is working on your account. For us, that is the strength of small within large.
