Growth is confirmation that our approach works and that clients trust us. At the same time, we understand that growth can raise questions. Will the lines of communication remain short? Am I still working directly with specialists? Or will there be more distance between strategy and execution?
Many organizations become slower as they grow larger. Additional people often lead to more layers, more deliberation and longer decision-making. Decisions shift, responsibilities blur and the commitment that once came naturally becomes less palpable.
Why we are working with two independent teams by Q4 2025
Until the end of 2025, we at Tomahawk always worked as one team. As we grew, it became important to structure our organization so that our way of working together remained the same. Not because things were going wrong, but because we wanted to keep thinking ahead.
Therefore, we chose a team structure with two independent teams rather than one larger entity with additional layers of management. Both teams are similar in size and composition, with customers evenly distributed. Each team has its own team lead and permanent specialists in SEO, SEA, social and tracking.
Strategy and execution take place within the same team. Decisions are made by the people who work with your account on a daily basis. This keeps it clear who is responsible for what and allows for quick action. The teams work independently, from one shared vision and working method, so that cooperation remains personal and quality is consistent.

What this means for you as a customer
Our growth does not create more distance, but rather secures the stability you are already used to. By working with independent teams, fixed contacts and short lines of communication are maintained even as we continue to grow. As soon as a team threatens to become too large to remain agile, we start a new team according to the same philosophy. This keeps each team manageable and agile.
For you, that means direct communication and clear decision-making. You have regular faces and a team that actively follows your market and thinks along with you. The people you talk to are the same people who perform and optimize the work. No transfers between departments and no confusion about responsibilities.
Small within large
So growth does not have to lead to complexity. By deliberately keeping our organization compact, we combine the personal character of a small agency with the stability and knowledge building of a larger organization.
For us, small within large means short lines of communication, regardless of our size.
