About Supershortlease

Supershortlease is a leading company specializing in providing all kinds of short lease cars. They provide companies and individuals with short term cars with flexible lease terms.

Challenge

In 2016, we began working together with the goal of generating more leads through Supershortlease's webshop. For this, it was important to optimize the SEA campaigns and also improve the webshop.

Approach

We deliberately chose to tackle this process step by step. This was because it allowed us to follow the developments in the organization and make good use of the learnings from the various optimizations. The phased approach was as follows:

  • At the start of our collaboration, we conducted extensive scans to identify improvement opportunities in the areas of SEO and SEA. This guided optimizations in the areas of content, technical SEO, link building and online advertising. This laid a good online foundation.
  • The results of the optimizations led to new opportunities and possibilities. For example, we created new pages based on high-scoring search terms to increase SEO findability. Via SEA, we provided car-specific campaigns based on car availability and a comprehensive measurement of all telephone inquiries. The next step in online growth had been taken.
  • The knowledge and experience we have gained over the past years for Supershortlease and the industry were used in the next phase to optimize the different domains through website migrations. These migrations were guided by us in terms of measurability and SEO.

And the next step in our phased approach? We are already busy with that, as we are currently supporting Supershortlease in their international ambitions and developments.

Result

The result of the cooperation is worth noting! Indeed, if we look at the figures at the start in 2016 to the present, we see the following:
  • Increase in visitors per month through SEO : 400%.
  • Organic position of the main keyword 'shortlease' increased from the last position on page 1 of search results in Google to the number 1 position.
  • Increase in visitors per month through SEA : 1300%.
  • 72% of traffic arrives at the website through SEA and SEO (37% and 35% respectively)
